The AlphaLight Long Spoon uses a durable hard-anodized aircraft grade aluminum combined with a sleek-yet-strong shape to create an extremely lightweight utensil. Hard anodizing forms a kind of 'exoskeleton', so the spoon is slimmer and lighter than regular aluminium. This hardened shell also eliminates the risk alloy leaching into food.
