This Clarke MD1000 100mm metal detector is a straightforward, easy to use waterproof metal detector with an easy to read control unit and only weighs 1kg. With this metal detector, you can look for lost car keys in your garden, or have fun searching for old coins. The MD1000 has three adjustable controls for detection, a warning signal volume, metal type and tone. This metal detector uses a 165mm diameter search coil and can detect metal objects buried up to a depth of 100mm. Additional features include an adjustable stem height for comfortable operation, and an earphone socket. This metal detector operates at a frequency of 2kHz, and a gauge scale from 0 to 10. The Clarke MD1000 requires 6x 1.5v batteries.
