Disco Connection” is a genre collection with a difference : the same old tracks which seem to end up on every 70’s/80’s disco comp are conspicuously absent here, and it has been compiled from only the authentic disco sounds of the period, all of which are under-exposed classics of the genre (which are all sought-after and hard to find on the collector’s market, especially by House music producers keen to pilfer the drum breakdowns).Added to this, many have never been compiled before. This is the disco sound of N.Y. clubs like Studio 54, Paradise Garage, and the Loft from back in the day, presented in the format it was originally designed for, Vinyl - in this instance a double vinyl set.
