Designed by firefighters, the X-IT Escape Ladder clamps to the wall and not the sill, so can safety support the weight of 3 adults. Made of rust-free steel tubing and folds compact for storage in a cupboard or under the bed. When unfurled, ladder locks rigid so it won't swing or twist and can be set to clear balconies below if need be. Adjusts to fit external walls up to 53cmD and windows from 28cmW. 20ft (2-storey) weighs 10.7kg. Measures approx. 30cm x 50cm when closed. Allow 2 weeks for delivery. Also available: 10ft (1-storey) weighs 6.7kg (see G5008 ) and 25ft for additional length weighs 12.7kg (see G5151 ).
