Nutmeg was the most coveted luxury in seventeenth century Europe, a spice believed to hold powerful medicinal qualities to the extent that Elizabethan physicians thought nutmeg a cure for the plague.
Originally designed for the Sir John Soane Museum Sarcophagus party, this chocolate is luxury itself.
Visually the bar is beautiful, with a shimmer of gold on a soft milk chocolate canvas. The milk chocolate gives way to a warming nutmeg glow.
